Honourary Awards Nomination

The awards are sponsored by the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science and are intended to recognize and acknowledge individuals who promote innovation, continuous education, advocacy and excellence in practice to the Medical Laboratory profession or to the BCSLS. Contributions can be at either the national, provincial, or local level.

Nominations are open to both BCSLS members and non-members.
The eligibility of nominees and the granting of the award categories shall be determined by the BCSLS Board of Directors.

How to nominate someone:

1. Nominations and Criteria letters about the nominee will be accepted until August 16, 2026. email to angie@bcsls.net

2. The individual making the nomination should be a Medical Laboratory Professional currently practicing in or professionally affiliated with the Medical Laboratory field. Please specify the job title and current organization for both the nominee and the nominator supporting the application.

3. There are no self nominations.(Required.)
