Introduction:

Thank you for taking a few moments to learn more about the inspiring work of this year’s finalists for the annual Loret Miller Ruppe Award for Outstanding Community Service.

Named in honor of the 10th Director of the Peace Corps, this award celebrates the legacy of service and connection that unites us as Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. It recognizes the outstanding work NPCA affiliate groups are doing to carry forward Peace Corps values.

These affiliate groups represent the values of this award by:
- increasing Americans’ understanding of other cultures and peoples, or
- continuing service in host countries, or
- building cooperation between communities, or
- promoting service and volunteerism

As a member of the Peace Corps community, your voice is an important part of this process. We invite you to watch the finalists videos, and then cast your vote!

Voting will be open on Thursday, July 9 at 5 PM EST to Sunday, July 19 at 2 PM EST, both in person at Peace Corps Connect and online for NPCA members.
