While the LaunchFV Program is offered AT NO COST, a significant amount of resources and knowledge leadership will be invested into the program and selected candidates (your aspiring business).
Selected candidates MUST attend a program orientation, 10 weeks of a 3-hour small business course (provided by Wake Tech), and participate in the capstone project through the InnovateFV Startup Weekend initiative.
- Orientation is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, August 20th (6-9 p.m.).
- The 10-weeks of classes will be hosted weekly on Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. in Fuquay-Varina from 27 AUG. through 29 OCT.
- The required capstone "project" will be participation in the InnovateFV Startup Weekend to be held from 6-8 November.
- Presentations, startup launches, and graduation will occur the evening of 8 November.
If selected, candidates MUST attend 100% of these classes and events to graduate from the program.
Please Note: Applicants with existing startups cannot have made more than $30K (net) in the previous year to qualify for this program.
