This is the first step in the development of our Housing Strategy. This survey will help to inform a needs assessment being conducted by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou to inform the development of a Housing Strategy for Ngati Porou.
The Housing Strategy will help us to provide a coordinated response to the immediate housing needs of our communities affected by the recent floods.
It will also be used to provide data to inform Ngāti Porou strategic inputs to inform a range of strategic planning documents that will be developed over the next 1-3 years. This includes but is not limited to inputs to:
· Gisborne District Council - Spatial Plan,
· Gisborne District Council - Infrastructure Strategy,
· Gisborne District Council - Long Term Plan
· Gisborne District Council - Tairawhiti Resource Management Plan review.
The information you share will be managed by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou for the purposes of informing our inputs to Housing related kaupapa. Your personal details will not be included in any information we provide to government agencies.
