The Neighborhood and Family Services Department of the City of Avondale has engaged Public Works LLC, a public policy consulting firm, to lead a strategic planning process that will guide the City in achieving its vision and mission to improve the lives of residents by making any experience of homelessness in the City of Avondale rare, brief, and non-recurring.

The strategic planning process includes gathering insights on housing needs, service needs, challenges, and priorities from stakeholders to better inform the City's leadership and staff on strategies to meet the ever-growing demands of offering affordable housing, appropriate services, and resources more in line with the needs of our community.

And that’s why we’re reaching out to you because no one understands this better than those who have experienced homelessness themselves. We’ll use the information from this survey to help us develop ideas and solutions that can improve programs and services for those who are unsheltered. We won’t be asking for  your name, and as a result, your responses remain  anonymous.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

Sincerely,

The Neighborhood and Family Services Department
