Town of Avon Groundwater and Flood Survey

The Town of Avon received a MA Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program grant to identify opportunities to improve availability of groundwater in Town, which will help reduce water restrictions/water bans. This project will help the Town find ways to capture and absorb more rainwater into the ground using natural drainage systems, which protect the Town’s drinking water supply, improve stormwater management, and support efforts to make the Town more resilient to future water challenges. As part of this effort, the Town wants to hear from residents about their experiences with flooding, water restrictions, and other water-related concerns, including water quality. Please take the survey below to share your feedback and help guide future planning and improvements in Avon.
