Please note: All entries are to be made through this electronic system.
The continuing theme is “Olde Time Holidays” and you are encouraged to develop your entry around this theme.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS OCTOBER 10, 2025

This form will ask you several questions about your parade entry. Please be as accurate and complete as you can. You are asked to provide a 3 or 4 sentence narrative i about your entry for our parade announcer.

Entrants must agree to follow all the rules set forth by the parade committee, including:

  • Units should not be in the staging area before 12:00pm, and arrive no later than 1:15 pm on the 23rd.
  • Unit number and staging locations will be emailed the first week of November. Your Unit Number plaque will be provided at the Check-in Point location on parade day. We will not use USPS this year.
  • Parking and staging space is limited, therefore assemble all members of the Unit outside the parade area and come through the Check Point as a group, either walking, on a float, or in a single drop off vehicle. Follow the directions from the Parade Marshalls and the Ashland Town Police.
  • SAFETY is very important. Please be aware of others. No one is allowed to leave any unit prior to the disbanding areas.
  • Due to SAFETY considerations, NO CANDY OR ANY OTHER OBJECTS will be dispensed from any float or vehicle along the parade route. Walkers with the float can hand materials to spectators.
  • No one's feet are allowed to hang off the sides or any unit or float.
  • Banners, signs and announcements will be limited to the name of the group, or the name of the sponsor, and should include an appropriate seasonal greeting in keeping with the theme.
  • No displays of political or controversial flags, banners emblems or symbols will be allowed. If you have any concerns or questions on this issue relative to your entry, please contact the Parade Committee at the email address listed at the bottom of this page.
  • The Parade Committee will provide the only Santa Claus for the Parade.
  • All float riders under 12 are to be accompanied by an adult. Walkers must be attentive when walking alongside their entry and responsible for their own safety.
  • All animal units must PROVIDE a pooper-scooper in the staging and disbanding areas, as well as throughout the parade route. Droppings may NOT be dumped in the disbanding area.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed before, during or after the parade in any assembly or disband areas.
  • Please provide a two or three sentence narrative describing your entry to be used by our parade announcer.
  • Please note the parade “step off” time this year is 2:00 pm sharp.
  • This is a “Rain or Shine” parade. If the parade must be cancelled for safety reasons such as bad weather, the person signing the application will be notified by 10 am on parade day. That person must notify all their participants.
  • Please remember that this is a Family-Friendly Holiday Parade: Please Dress and Decorate appropriately.
