Viking Volunteer Ventures at Mack Park Farm

Come join the CCE for our April Volunteer Ventures at Mack Park Food Farm on April 6th and/or April 25th! Mack Park is a local municipal farm that produces thousands of pounds of organically grown food annually, which is distributed free of charge to the Salem community through The Salem Pantry and community farmers’ markets, with the mission of providing our community with healthy, locally grown food.

Volunteer activities include preparing the farm for the upcoming planting season. Anticipate some mud; clothing and shoes that you can get dirty are recommended!

Transportation is provided from Central Campus (8:35 am pick-up) and from outside Meier Hall (8:45 am pick-up). If you DO NOT need transportation, please meet us at Mack Park Farm (31 Grove St, Salem, MA) at 9:00 am.

Before attending, please fill out this waiver required by the City of Salem; Kerry Murphy is our point of contact: https://www.salemma.gov/FormCenter/Human-Resources-23/Volunteer-Participant-Waiver-158
