Algae Academy Application Spring 2021

Thank you for your interest in teaching the Algae Academy curriculum in your classroom!

This unique module teaches the fundamentals of algae and how algae can be applied as a solution for today’s global dilemmas. The 5-day kit contains everything you need to complete each lesson and can be modified for block scheduling. Each kit is free of charge to you and your school and includes daily lesson plans, live algae for your students to grow, and the additional consumables needed to complete the curriculum.

Educator support and instructional videos will be provided for your reference. We hope that this intriguing module becomes part of your annual education plan for years to come.

The Algae Academy is growing and for the first time we are placing a cap on the number of kits distributed each semester. We have 250 spots available in the Spring and 250 in the Fall. Submitting an application does not secure your spot. When you receive your acceptance email, you must then complete the required webinar and survey before your spot is secured. Acceptance notifications will begin in July.

At this time, the Algae Academy is only available in the United States.
