The AACR Patient Advocate Registration Scholarship offers complimentary registration for patient advocates to attend AACR Special Conferences and the AACR Annual Meeting. Applications must be submitted three weeks before the start of the conference. Patient advocates are limited to one scholarship per year. Organizations are limited to two scholarships per year. 

Eligibility
  • Candidates must work or volunteer at a not-for-profit patient advocacy organization that demonstrates a charitable mission; engages in patient advocacy activities; and, supports programs, activities, or services that benefit patients with cancer.
  • Applicants do not need to be an AACR member to be considered for the scholarship.
  • Employees or subcontractors of private industry are not eligible.
  • Previous or current AACR Active or Associate members are not eligible.

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of their patient advocacy efforts and an estimation of the potential professional benefit to the recipient.

Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status in 3 - 5 business days.
