Preston Moves - Physical Activity Asset Mapping |
About the Survey
Preston Moves is a city partnership bringing together organisations committed to helping people in Preston move more and live healthier, more connected lives. The partnership includes Preston City Council, Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, Active Lancashire, PNE Community and Education Trust, GLL and These Four Words.
As part of this work, Preston Moves is undertaking a citywide exercise to better understand the organisations, services and spaces that currently support people to be physically active across Preston. This includes community groups, clubs, venues, parks, programmes and professionals that help people access physical activity and sport.
The mapping is being carried out by FMG Consulting on behalf of the partnership. The aim is to build a clearer picture of where physical activity assets exist across the city, how they are currently being used, and where there may be gaps or opportunities to strengthen provision so that more residents can be active.
Your knowledge is essential to building an accurate picture of what already exists across Preston. The information you provide will be used by FMG Consulting to produce a physical activity asset map and supporting analysis for the Preston Moves Partnership. This will help identify strengths within the current system, highlight areas where additional support may be needed, and improve understanding of where assets are located and how they support residents to be active.
Completing the survey takes approximately 5–7 minutes. Taking part is voluntary and you may update or withdraw your organisation’s information at any time. Participation in this survey does not commit your organisation to delivering physical activity.
The information you provide will be stored securely within encrypted systems managed by FMG Consulting. Access to the detailed dataset will be limited to authorised individuals involved in delivering this commissioned work and members of the Preston Moves Partnership.
Information provided through this survey will not be shared publicly. Organisations, services or facilities will not be identified in any public-facing reports or documents.
