Introduction
The Village of Port Chester is conducting a Park Master Plan to guide the future rehabilitation of Abendroth Park – a 10.1 acre community park located at the southeast corner of the Village. The Park currently features playgrounds, playing fields, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, and the popular Port Chester Dog Park, and serves as a gathering space for residents, families, and pets.
The Abendroth Park Master Plan will guide future improvements to ensure the park continues to meet community needs. The plan will explore opportunities to enhance access, amenities, and connections while preserving The Park’s welcoming character and valued sense of place.
