New curriculum survey: Advanced Trainee feedback, 2026

You are invited to participate in a survey about your experience as a current RACP Trainee using the new curriculum.

Purpose
The purpose of this survey is to gather your feedback on experiences with the new curriculum, including the curriculum standards and learning and assessment activities. Your feedback will help us to:

• identify areas for improvement to inform ongoing program development
• identify support needs for trainees and educators
• understand if the program is operating as expected

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

Confidentiality
The survey is anonymous. Any identifying information you provide in free text responses will be de-identified for reporting purposes. All data will be aggregated for reporting so that individual participants and health services cannot be identified.

Survey Data
Data are stored by the RACP on secure Australian servers with encryption and firewall protection, that are only accessible to members of the research team. We are conducting this survey using SurveyMonkey, which means that the information collected in this survey will be transferred outside Australia and stored securely on SurveyMonkey's servers. This evaluation has been approved by the RACP College Research Grants Committee (CRGC) Ethics sub-committee.

Reporting
RACP teams and your training committee will use the aggregated findings from this survey to understand what is working well in the new curriculum and where improvements need to be made. Aggregated findings may also be published in peer reviewed journals and presented at conferences to contribute to the body of literature on medical education and training.
