Help Guide the Future of Your Profession
Your Chance to Comment
ARRT’s Board of Trustees has recommended changes to our governing documents. The Call for Comments process is one of the ways you can take part in guiding the future of the medical imaging profession. We invite you to complete this survey to let us know how well you understand the proposed changes. You’ll be able to review each governing document to see these changes and have the opportunity to provide any other general comments you’d like to share. Final versions of these documents are scheduled to be posted in early 2026.
ARRT is expanding our credential offerings to address the evolving needs of the medical imaging profession, and you’ll see related changes reflected in the governing documents. We’re adding two new credentials: Imaging Assistant, Magnetic Resonance, I.A.(MR) and Limited Technologist, L.T.
You’ll also see editorial changes based on grammar, consistency, or brevity including a revision to the ARRT Vision statement that now reads “Exceptional patient care for all, provided by qualified medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.” Because interventional radiography is already represented as a medical imaging discipline, we’ve removed that specific phrase from the Vision statement. ARRT continues to offer credentials for Cardiac Interventional Radiography, CI, and Vascular Interventional Radiography, VI, and to support the Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, CV, credential.
All are welcome to review and comment on the changes.
Please complete this survey by October 12 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Thank you for your time.
