Outreach Opportunity Application

In partnership with the World Space Week Association and in celebration of World Space Week 2026: Rocket Revolution, the American Rocketry Challenge is distributing 50 Estes ULA Vulcan rockets and 20 launch systems to ARC teams to engage more students in rocketry! These rockets are generously donated by ULA and Estes.

The goal of this collaboration is to bring rocketry to new student groups, including past ARC teams who have never launched a rocket and ARC teams who conduct outreach to amateurs at other schools or in lower grades.

ARC teams from past years may apply to receive rockets and launch pads via the application below. Preference will be given to proposals serving students who have never launched previously, students at Title I schools, and students located near ULA locations.

ARC teams receiving rockets will receive:
Teams who are selected to receive rockets agree to:
  • Launch during World Space Week - October 4 - 10, 2027
  • Register as a World Space Week event to represent U.S. participation in the celebration
  • Share photos of the launches if consent or guardian consent is in place
