Expression of Interest - Australian Paramedicine Working Group on Drugs and Poisons Legislation and Regulation

The Australian Paramedicine Working Group on Drugs and Poisons Legislation will be responsible for actions and advice to the College covering:

Review of current relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks across all states and territories, and nationally
Identifying inconsistencies and barriers to paramedic practice
Developing a position paper outlining recommended reforms and harmonisation strategies
Legislative change that supports safe, consistent, and expanded paramedic practice nationally.

It is expected that committee members attend a minimum of 80% of meetings scheduled by the committee chair, are engaged in relevant discussion, and contribute to Working Group tasks/projects/surveys and ad hoc requests in a timely, efficient and respectful manner.
