Thank you for your interest in serving the AAVSB. Volunteers are vital to the success of our programs. Not all committees have immediate openings, but the AAVSB will consider your participation as openings arise and contact you with more information at that time. Committee members are appointed by the President with approval by the AAVSB Board of Directors. For specific details on each Committee, please see the AAVSB Volunteer Opportunities book available at www.aavsb.org/board-services/get-involved/.

Bylaws Committee: Proposes amendments to the AAVSB Bylaws as necessary. Receives and considers proposed amendments as well as submitted Resolutions. Meets via video conference call as needed. 2 hours a month average.

Student Outreach Committee: Engages veterinary and veterinary technician students through visit to schools with Member Boards. Finds tactics to get regulatory information to students. Meets via video conference call when needed. 2 hours a month average.
