Keith Poulsen, DVM, PhD, DACVIM
Dr. Poulsen is Director of the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and a Clinical Associate Professor of Large Animal Medicine at the School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, Wisconsin. Poulsen has been active in AAVLD as a member of the Board of Directors since 2020 and participates in several committees and working groups. Poulsen is also active in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine as the Large Animal Ombudsman (shared with a colleague). Poulsen’s professional interests focus on zoonotic infectious diseases and bovine health; and he currently spends a significant amount of time working on advocacy and building collaborative networks for One Health advancement.
