AADANT NT AOD Awards Nominations 2026

The Association of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies NT (AADANT) is the peak body for non-government alcohol and other drug treatment services in the Northern Territory. To coincide with AADANT's annual drug and alcohol conference in June 2026, we will hold the sixth annual NT AOD Awards to recognise the Sector's hard work.

Please read all the award criteria carefully before nominating a worker or organisation. All fields must be completed, or the nomination will be considered incomplete and will not be presented to the panel for consideration.

Example Model Response for the NT AOD Worker of the Year (2025) Nomination
Nominee Name: Jane Doe
Nominee Organisation: NT AOD Support Services
Nominee Contact Details: janedoe@email.com | 0400 123 456
Reason for recognition: Jane Doe is an outstanding AOD support worker who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, drive, and perseverance in supporting individuals affected by alcohol and other drug use in the NT. Despite being relatively new to the sector, Jane has quickly established herself as a trusted and compassionate advocate for clients, always going above and beyond to ensure they receive the best possible care. Her work in harm reduction outreach programs has significantly impacted vulnerable communities, particularly in remote areas. Jane actively collaborates with peer support groups, community organisations, and health services to provide culturally safe and evidence-based interventions. What sets Jane apart is her dedication to continuous learning, actively participating in professional development opportunities and mentoring newer staff. Her ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues reflects her deep passion for the sector. Her contributions to reducing stigma, increasing access to services, and improving client outcomes make her a deserving candidate for NT AOD Worker of the Year.
