Food Allergy & Airline Travel Survey

This survey by Allergy Microbiome Foundation aims to better understand the experiences, concerns, and challenges faced by individuals and families managing severe food allergies when travelling by air within Australia and from Australia with local carriers.

We are particularly seeking feedback from mothers, parents, carers, and families who have had to consider allergy risks, safe food availability, staff awareness, & airline policies, when flying. Your responses will help identify where airlines may currently be falling short, including issues with suitable food options, communication, consistency, allergen information, and overall passenger support. The feedback collected will be used to advocate for practical improvements that make air travel safer, more inclusive, and less stressful for food allergy individuals and families.

If you would like to support our work, donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
