Activate Lake Raleigh – Community Survey

Lake Raleigh is a sprawling oasis that sits in the heart of NC State’s Centennial Campus less than three miles from downtown Raleigh. The 75-acre lake and its trails offer opportunities for outdoor exploration, including hiking, biking, picnics, disc golf, fishing, and non-motorized boating.

As part of its long-term vision, the NC State Real Estate and Development Office is developing a community-led plan intended to activate and enhance Lake Raleigh and the surrounding university property.

The vision is to transform Lake Raleigh into a natural destination that includes a diversified mix of University programming, a new home for research and educational interests, activities that promote physical and mental wellness, and a place for relaxation.

We hope to bring new and exciting ideas to this area. Please dream big and share your input on programming opportunities that should be prioritized at Lake Raleigh.
