AGU Survey: Impact of U.S. Federal Science Funding Actions

AGU is documenting the real-world impacts of recent U.S. Administration actions that have resulted in cuts, delays, and disruptions at NSF and other science agencies, including any downstream and indirect effects (e.g., on jobs, research, funding, meeting attendance, scholarly publishing) on scientists, institutions, and facilities in the U.S. and worldwide, as well as on society at large.

We invite responses from anyone who is involved in the sciences, uses scientific data, or otherwise has an interest in the actions described above. Your answers will help us to better understand what is happening and to support and advocate for scientists with specific, credible evidence.

This survey is split into two sections. The first part takes about 10 minutes. At the end of that section, you can choose to answer additional questions in an optional second section (another 5 minutes) regarding facilities and datasets.

Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary, and you may stop at any time. You must be at least 18 years of age to take this survey.

We will not collect your IP address and at the end of the survey, you will be provided with a choice about how much identifying information you would like to share. All answers are valuable; however, specifics about people, programs, institutions, and location increase AGU’s ability to advocate regarding specific issues.

There is no close date for this survey right now, but responses submitted before 31 August will be most immediately useful.
1.By selecting “yes” you agree that you are at least 18 years old, you have read and understood the description of this survey, and you agree to participate.(Required.)
