Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship assessment panel |
Expression of interest form
Indigenous Allied Health Australia, our partners the National Association of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners and Rural Doctors Network are seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to support with the assessment of scholarship applications under the Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship program.
The scholarships aim to support upcoming Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce, and more information is available here. Assessors will be asked to review applications online against set criteria to help ensure the program is administered in an equitable, culturally safe and responsive way.
A panel will be established of suitable assessors from diverse backgrounds. While assessors might not be asked to assess applications every year, assessors will be offered an opportunity at least once over the course of the three-year term, and small payment is available in recognition of the cultural and professional knowledge and time given by assessors.
All information collected will only be used for the assessment panel and will not be used or shared for any other purpose. Please contact IAHA if you have any questions.
