GUIDELINES
CICA members and non-members are invited to submit a proposal for an education session for the CICA 2027 International Conference, March 7-9, 2027, at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
Successful submission tips:
- Successful sessions include a confirmed risk manager or captive owner whose primary job function is operating or managing a captive on a daily basis. This individual is a direct employee of the captive’s parent company or affiliated company. This category is not for captive managers or service providers whose company has a captive.
- CICA welcomes diverse presenters and perspectives at our International Conference. Speakers who align with our values and initiatives, such as Amplify Women and NEXTGen, are more likely to be considered.
- CICA is domicile-neutral and is committed to providing sessions with national and international perspectives and speakers from many domiciles. Sessions specific to a single jurisdiction will not be accepted.
- Presentations from CICA members are desired, but not required.
Session Requirements:
- A Risk Manager or Captive Owner is required for each submitted session. Some exceptions may apply.
- CICA only accepts a maximum of 5 submissions per company, so please coordinate with your colleagues.
- All companies are limited to a maximum of 3 speakers at the conference and each speaker can only speak on a single session (moderating qualifies as speaking).
- Only one speaker or moderator per company is permitted for each session. Sessions submitted with more than one speaker from the same company will not be accepted.
- CICA programs are not an opportunity to “pitch” a product or a service provider.
Please note: Incomplete sessions or sessions that do not adhere by the above guidelines WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. CICA reserves the right to make exceptions based upon unique situations.
To submit a proposal, please complete this form no later than 6 P.M. Eastern, Friday, August 7, 2026. Late proposals may not be considered.
