Thank you for your interest in serving as an RTD CONNECT Community Ambassador.

RTD CONNECT is an initiative to take a fresh look at how RTD’s transit network can best serve the needs of today and tomorrow. Community Ambassadors will play an important role in helping RTD engage communities across the region, sharing information, gathering feedback, contributing input, and ensuring diverse perspectives inform future transit planning.

RTD seeks 30 individuals who are deeply connected to their communities, interested in the future of transit in the region, and committed to inclusive engagement. Community Ambassadors should have a collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and a trusted community presence and network.

Timeline and Expectations
Community Ambassadors will support two phases of engagement. Phase 1 will take place between September 2026 – November 2026. Phase 2 will take place in Summer 2027. The estimated time commitment is at least 50 hours per 3-month phase. Community Ambassadors will receive a $2,500 stipend in each engagement phase.

In each phase, Community Ambassadors will participate in an onboarding and up to three trainings and check-ins, participate in at least 1 RTD CONNECT stakeholder meeting and 1 RTD CONNECT community meeting, engage community members via at least 25 touchpoints (e.g., social media posts, canvassing, or presentations at local organizations).
