E-Bike Consultation Survey

The NSW Government will soon be making new laws to help keep people safe on e-bikes. These laws will include things like:

  • A minimum age to ride e-bikes
  • Whether you are allowed to ride with passengers on an e-bike
  • The types of e-bikes that are legal to ride

We want to know what you think about e-bikes, why young people use them and what would help make e-bikes safer for young people.

Your answers are anonymous which means no-one will know what you say. We really want to know what you actually think and how you really use e‑bikes in your everyday life.

What you say will help the NSW Government understand young people’s views and experiences and make e‑bike rules that are safe, fair, and work for everyone.

For the purpose of this survey, e-bike (electric bicycle) means a bicycle equipped with an electric bike motor. This includes push/pedal bikes that have been converted to e-bikes.

To take part in this survey you must be younger than 17 years of age and have used an e-bike as a rider or a passenger.
