Introduction

Hi!

Thank you for your interest in taking part in this survey. We want to hear from those aged 11-25 year olds from across London and Essex. This includes those in education, training and employment, as well as those that aren't currently in them.

At the Jack Petchey Foundation we want a world where young people have high aspirations, fulfil their potential, and play an active part in society. To mark the Foundation’s 25th anniversary, we want to learn how young people view their futures.

By filling out the form and providing your contact details you will be entered into our £200 prize draw. If you are in education or part of a youth group, this organisation will also be eligible for a £500 prize if 15 young people from the same one successfully complete the survey.

If you are under 18, please provide your parent/guardian’s contact details. The full terms and conditions are available to read here.

Survey Purpose

We’re asking you, the young people of London and Essex, to tell us what your ambitions are for the future.

We will use the information we collect to promote young people’s voices to the public, media and decision makers. We will also use your thoughts and ideas to shape our own programmes for 2024 and beyond.

This survey is your chance to tell us what you think and to make a difference to the opportunities we offer for other young people in London and Essex.

Completing this Survey

The survey consists of 27 questions and should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

It will be open until 11.59pm on Tuesday 30 April 2024.

Your feedback will be anonymous and will be read and analysed by the Jack Petchey Foundation. We will not share your personal details with any third party, but we may share quotes any quotes provided on our social media and send them out to the press to shout about the great things young people in London and Essex are doing.

The survey is split into the following sections:
  • Looking Around
