SYTA Youth Foundation Board of Trustee or Vice Chair Position

Thank you for your interest in serving on the SYTA Youth Foundation Board of Trustees. We are seeking highly motivated individuals committed to advancing our mission. It is strongly recommended applicants review the nomination information and Trustee description on sytayouthfoundation.org prior to submitting the nomination.

Available Positions:

Vice Chair (One-year term, followed by automatic succession to Chair and Past Chair, totaling three years)
  • The Vice Chair supports the Chair in leading the Board, contributes to strategic planning, and prepares to assume leadership as Chair the following year. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to the Foundation’s mission.
Board of Trustees Member (Two-year term: August 2026 – August 2028)
  • Trustees play a critical role in shaping the Foundation’s strategy, overseeing initiatives, and ensuring the Foundation fulfills its mission to support youth travel opportunities. One of the most important roles of a Trustee is to actively participate in fundraising efforts, outreach, and governance.

Note: It’s important that we achieve 100% board participation in giving to the foundation. To support this goal, we ask that all board members commit to a minimum annual donation of $500 for the duration of their term either personally or through their company.
