2026 marks Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador’s (MNL) 75th anniversary of advocating on behalf of our members and building capacity within local government in the province. As we celebrate our past accomplishments together, we are also looking ahead to the future. MNL’s current strategic plan is nearing completion and the need for a renewed, strengthened and refocused MNL has never been greater. In our anniversary year we have initiated an update of our strategic plan to help guide our activities in the next 3-4 years and beyond.
Lead Consultant Pat Curran of Pat Curran + Associates (PCA) Inc. will support MNL in the planning process, leading consultation and engagement with our key stakeholders and partners. Key elements of the planning process include a detailed literature review and jurisdictional scan, interviews and engagement sessions with members and key partners, and a member and stakeholder survey.
The following survey should take about 7-10 minutes to complete. Your responses are confidential and will be presented only in aggregate form in the Key Findings Report and the later strategic plan.
