Perinatal Doula Companionship: challenges, benefits and recommendations
The aim of this survey is to enhance the understanding of healthcare professionals' perspectives regarding their professional experiences with doula support.
We invite participants to share their insights and opinions on the value of doula support, both for mothers, partners, and their families, as well as for the healthcare team involved in perinatal care.
Additionally, we seek your recommendations on the integration of doula support within the broader perinatal care network.
It is important to note that the term "woman" is employed here as it is most commonly used to describe the majority of doula clients. However, it is acknowledged that doulas also provide support to individuals from diverse gender identities within the birthing community.
