Each year, Council sets the District of Metchosin's budget — the plan for how your tax dollars are spent on services, infrastructure, and the future of our community.

This survey is your chance to let Council know what matters most to you as we shape the 2027–2031 budget. It takes about 6 to 8 minutes, and your input will directly inform Council's deliberations.

A few things to know before you begin:

• Budget choices involve trade-offs. We'll ask you to make some; it helps us understand what your priorities are.
• There are no wrong answers. Your perspective is what we need.
• Your responses are confidential. We don't ask for your name, and individual responses are never shared.
• The survey is open from July 20, 2026 to September 18, 2026. Aggregated results will be presented to the new Council following the fall election. They will be made available online at www.metchosin.ca
