Please use this form to sign up to audition for the SJT Young Company for 16 to 25 year olds.

We audition once a year in September and offer just 10 places for the following academic year.

This is an exclusive programme of training and support for young theatre makers in and around Scarborough/North Yorkshire, and so places are limited and only offered following a successful audition.

There are two audition slots;

GROUP AUDITION - this is a workshop audition where you'll work together with other participants for most of the session. Then you'll be given a short speech to learn and you'll perform that for the audition panel one at a time. When that's done - you're free to go.

RELAXED AUDITION - this is a smaller group session with less noise and a slower pace. Everything else is the same. You'll still need to learn and perform a short speech, but there's no pressure.

NB: Please note that we will need to take your photograph for selection purposes. This image will stay on file if you are selected and if not it will be destroyed.
