Age Friendly Minnesota (AFT) - Trail Usability & Needs Study |
The purpose of this study is to better understand how individuals experience the navigability of various trails across Northeast Minnesota. Your insights will help us describe the relative navigability of trails across Northeastern Minnesota so that future users can make informed choices based on their preferences, needs, and comfort levels.
Please limit the content of your response to singular trails or segments. You are invited to submit multiple responses as you visit trail facilities across Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis County.
This survey is broken down into the following sections:
Respondent Demographics:
We ask for personal information about your age, mobility level, and other questions about personal characteristics to help us understand trail navigability from your unique perspective.
Personal contact information provided in this survey will not be shared.
Trail Information:
We ask for specific information, including the date, time, location, and frequency of visits to the trail you are describing, as well as current condition of the trail and related amenities.
Use & Observations:
We ask that you share observations on a variety of subjects including safety, wayfinding, and accessibility.
We value the experiences of all trail users and are committed to creating inclusive and accessible outdoor spaces. Respondents are invited to provide personal contact information to receive follow up. However, this is optional. All responses will remain confidential, and your input is greatly appreciated.
