Introduction

The Center for Applied Linguistics has been awarded a three-year grant by the International Research and Studies Program of the U.S. Department of Education to conduct a research study titled Strengthening K-16 Language Program to Expand National Foreign Language Capacity.

The purpose of this survey is to gather input from educators working with world languages (i.e., languages other than English) at community colleges about their experiences and perspectives on world language program articulation and the related topics of crediting and placement practices.

As a token of appreciation, participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. Participants wishing to participate in a raffle will be asked to provide their email address at the end of the survey. Completing the survey will take approximately 15 minutes. Please complete the survey in one sitting.

By participating in this survey, you acknowledge that you have been informed about its purpose and agree to voluntarily provide your responses. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may choose to stop at any time without penalty. Your responses will remain confidential and will be used solely for research purposes. If you have any questions about this survey or the research, please contact Jenna Bushton at jbushton@cal.org.

By proceeding, you consent to participate in this survey and agree to the terms of the raffle.

Thank you for your time and input!
