2026-2027 Active & Associate SYTA Board of Directors Nomination Form |
The Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) is now accepting nominations for the 2026–2027 Board of Directors. We invite members to complete all sections of the application thoughtfully and fully. Your responses will help the Nominating Committee understand your experience, perspective, and commitment to serving the SYTA community, as well as how your insights and leadership can support the association’s mission and its members.
Nominees must be a current Active or Associate member of SYTA in good standing (membership dues current through December 31, 2026). Nominees must also either be the SYTA current primary contact for their company or have permission to become the primary contact should you get elected.
We sincerely appreciate your willingness to serve in SYTA leadership. Your continued dedication to the student travel industry and our association is valued.

Submission Deadline
Nomination forms must be submitted by 5:00 PM EDT Friday April 17, 2026.
Note: This form must be completed in one session, as partial answers cannot be saved.
All Board Members are expected to:
- Attend virtual and in-person board meetings
- Attend all SYTA Events (SYTA Summit Optional)
- Recruit New Members
- Serve on SYTA Committees
- Contribute to the SYTA Youth Foundation (Wing Man level suggested)
Financial Commitment
Board members are expected to cover the cost of SYTA event registration fees (e.g., Annual Conference) and contribute to the SYTA Youth Foundation (Wing Man level of $500.00 suggested). A $1,500.00 stipend is provided to help offset travel costs and expenses for in-person board meetings; international board members receive a slightly higher stipend (amount is tailored to board member's destination).
