Charities and probate: what can we do better?

As the leading membership and training organisation for charity legacy professionals, the Institute of Legacy Management (ILM) has more than 700 members from some 400 charities. Together, they manage over £3bn worth of legacy income per year and play an important role in liaising with the legal profession to ensure legacies are received by charities in a timely and efficient manner.

Always striving to guide its members towards achieving best practice, the ILM is keen to hear from probate professionals about their dealings with charities throughout the probate journey, the processes that work well and those that could be improved.

This is your opportunity to help shape future guidance and training for charity legacy professionals. Only by understanding more about what solicitors need from our members, can we deliver the training that will help improve future working relationships.

We hope you will spare a few minutes of your time to contribute your suggestions and comments.
