2026-2027 The Catholic Education Foundation Tuition Assistance Grant for Children of Catholic School Employees
Welcome to the CEF Employee Scholarship application.
Qualifying Criteria
· The applicant must be a direct employee of a Catholic elementary or high school within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for the 2026-2027 school year.
· A direct employee is defined as an employee that is paid from the school payroll and not by a public district or third-party contract.
· The applicant must be employed at least 18 hours a week, not including the summer.
· The applicant must be a parent or legal guardian of the child(ren).
· The applicant’s child(ren) must attend a Catholic school recognized by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
· Funds can only be used for tuition; not student or activity fees.
· The child(ren) will not be eligible to receive this assistance if an Ohio EdChoice or Jon Peterson Scholarship covers the entire tuition amount.
Application Process
· The registration is open February 1, 2026- February 28, 2026.
· The Catholic Education Foundation awards given will be proportional to the number of applicants.
· The applicant will be notified of the awarding decision in the Spring of 2026.
· Awards will be sent directly to schools in the Fall of 2026, after verifying enrollment of the qualifying child(ren) and current employment of the applicant.
· If employment status change and you have been notified of receiving an award, it is the employee’s responsibility to notify Lisa Hust at lhust@catholicaoc.org of changes.
