The BVA Animal Health and Welfare Overseas Award recognises vets and vet nurses who have made a significant positive impact overseas through work supporting animal health, animal welfare, public health, environmental needs and/or local communities.

The award is open to vets registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Anyone can nominate a candidate, but self-nominations are not accepted.

You'll need to provide the following:
  • a statement outlining and evidencing why your nominee deserves to win (maximum 400 words), including the countries where they have worked and evidence against the award criteria (which you can find here)
  • the nominee's full name, email address and RCVS number (which you can find here)
