The BVA Outstanding Achievement Award recognises vets who have made outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession or animal welfare, with a significant and demonstrable impact.

The award is open to all vets registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Anyone can nominate, but self-nominations are not accepted.

You'll need to provide the following:
  • a statement outlining why your nominee deserves to win (maximum 400 words), including evidence against the award criteria (which you can access here; you don't need to address every criterion, but doing so may enable a higher score)
  • the nominee's full name, email address and RCVS number (which you can find here)
