Recently a court in TX vacated the FinCEN Residential Real Estate Rule, just weeks after its March 1 implementation date. FinCEN has issued guidance confirming that, due to this ruling, reporting persons are not currently required to file reports. However, future actions by the courts or FinCEN could change that. NOW is the time for the title industry to push for change and we need your help!
