Panto For All Transport Grant Application -
Jack & the Beanstalk 2026-27

Thanks to the support of the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal and our own Open Doors fundraising campaign, University Concert Hall is delighted to be able to offer Panto Transport Grants of up to €300 to eligible DEIS schools across Limerick, Clare and Tipperary this year who are coming to our annual Panto.

We know that the cost of transport can be one of the biggest challenges for schools planning a trip to the theatre, so we hope these grants will make it a little easier for more children to join us for the magic of our 2026/27 Pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

Whether your school has already booked your Panto visit or is still considering joining us, you are very welcome to apply.

8.Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Open to DEIS Designated Schools within the Midwest of Ireland, covering Clare, Limerick, and Tipperary.
Only one application per school is permitted.

2. Purpose of the Grant: The Transport Grant is intended as a contribution towards the cost of transporting groups to and from the University Concert Hall pantomime.

3. Grant Value: Successful applicants will be awarded a transport grant of up to €300 per school. The grant is a fixed contribution and is not intended to cover all transport costs.

4. Ticket Purchase: Transport Grants will only be released once the group's pantomime tickets have been paid for in full. A successful transport grant application does not constitute a ticket reservation.

5. Payment of Grant: The grant will be paid to the successful organisation following confirmation of ticket purchase and receipt of the organisation's banking details (or by another payment method agreed by UCH).

6. Transport Arrangements: It is the responsibility of each organisation to arrange and manage its own transport to and from the venue. University Concert Hall accepts no responsibility for transport providers, travel arrangements, delays or cancellations.

7. Supervision: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by appropriate adult supervisors. A minimum ratio of one adult for every 10 children is recommended.

8. Pantomime Show Dates: Transport Grants apply only to performances of the 2026/27 Pantomime.

9. Attendance and Punctuality: Groups should arrive in sufficient time before the performance. Late arrivals may not be admitted until an appropriate point in the performance.

10. Safety and Behaviour: The organisation is responsible for the conduct, supervision and welfare of its group throughout the visit. All attendees must comply with University Concert Hall's health, safety and venue policies.

11. Cancellations: If a group is no longer able to attend, the University Concert Hall Box Office must be notified as soon as possible by calling 061 331549 or emailing support@uch.ie. Failure to notify UCH may result in the transport grant being withdrawn and may affect future applications.

12. Withdrawal of Grant: University Concert Hall reserves the right to withdraw or withhold payment of the grant where tickets have not been paid for, the group does not attend the performance, or these Terms & Conditions have not been complied with.

13. Panel Decision: All applications will be assessed by a panel. The panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. Funding: Transport Grants are subject to the availability of funding. University Concert Hall reserves the right to amend the number or value of grants awarded.

15. Liability: University Concert Hall accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from transport arrangements or attendance at the event. Organisations are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance and safeguarding procedures in place.

Deadlines:
Applications close on Friday 25th September 2026. UCH will start to notify successful applicants from Friday 2nd October 2026.
