Welcome!

Inyo, Mono, and Alpine Counties are working together to better understand how outdoor recreation contributes to local communities, businesses, and visitors across the Eastern Sierra, and how future investments can support sustainable recreation across the Eastern Sierra. This survey is part of a regional study focused on outdoor recreation and the economic vitality of the tri-county area. This survey focuses specifically on outdoor recreation and related experiences; some questions may not apply to everyone.

Whether you live in the area, own property, operate a business, work seasonally, or visit for recreation or other reasons, your perspective is important. If you have recreated or engaged in recreation related activities/business within the last 3 years, we would encourage you to participate in this survey. Findings from this survey will be used to inform future planning, investment priorities, and coordination among counties and partners.

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete.

Your responses are confidential. We do not collect identifying information, and results will be reported only in aggregate.

This survey is being conducted by ECOnorthwest on behalf of Inyo, Mono, and Alpine Counties as part of the Tri-County Recreation Economic Impact Study.
