Deployment Survival Skills: Strong at Home
Strong at Home is a workshop to encourage and remind those at home during a deployment or absence the importance of taking care of themselves. If you are the spouse/partner, parenting partner, or adult supporting a child during a deployment or absence, this workshop is for you! We will talk about the stressors that come from solo parenting and the increased responsibilities you may face. You will use our workbook to help develop tips and tricks to reestablish routines, build your community, and receive a free self-care package! You will also have time to connect with others who “get it” and swap tips, ideas, and encouragement.
