Fruitridge Road Safety and Mobility Plan
Phase 2 Alternatives Survey

The Fruitridge Road Safety and Mobility Plan is a transportation planning effort by the City of Sacramento to reimagine this important corridor from Riverside Boulevard in the west, where it is named Seamus Avenue, to Stockton Boulevard to the east. Fruitridge Road serves a diversity of neighborhoods, schools, churches, cultural centers, and small businesses yet was identified as part of the City’s Vision Zero High Injury Network.

The Fruitridge Road Safety and Mobility Plan will:
  • Facilitate a community-guided vision for the corridor to support all ages and abilities
  • Improve access to schools, parks, businesses, and transit
  • Support vibrant local businesses and cultural spaces
  • Develop alternative roadway design options
  • Guide funding, implementation, and future community partnerships

We are currently seeking feedback on potential alternatives to the current roadway design to achieve these safety, accessibility, and economic improvement goals.
