Energy Element Policies for the Yavapai County Comprehensive Plan

This survey is intended to give residents of Yavapai County an opportunity to express their opinions and indicate their priorities regarding the “Energy Element” of the update to the County’s Comprehensive Plan. For more information on the initiative to update the Yavapai County Comprehensive Plan, please CLICK HERE.

By law the County must include a section in their Comprehensive Plan covering energy. However, the law merely states that the Comprehensive Plan must include a discussion on “Planning for energy use that: (a) Encourages and provides incentives for efficient use of energy and (b) Identifies policies and practices for greater use of renewable energy.”

While this survey has been devised by Keep Sedona Beautiful, the results will be shared with Yavapai County.  This is not a County survey.

Read each item carefully and mark your response based on the choices shown. Completing this anonymous survey should take you no more than 10 minutes.

For some items, we have included a link to a web page that may help clarify a term used.

Please note that if you rent, some of the items below may not apply to you. If this is the case, please do not respond to those items.

Please do not take this survey unless you are a resident of Yavapai County, and please respond only once per household.
