Introduction
Requirements for state licensing in Fluoroscopy are based, in part, on the results of a periodic job analysis in Radiography conducted by ARRT. In September 2024, a survey was sent to radiographers with questions about activities that they may perform. The Fluoroscopy Examination Committee reviewed the results of tasks in patient care, safety, and image production that relate to fluoroscopy. They recommended updates to the content specifications based on those results. The examination does not assess the knowledge and cognitive skills required for the performance of fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
