2026 OSMH Nightingale Award

The prestigious Nightingale Award is presented annually to an OSMH nurse (RN/RPN/NP) who is recognized for going above and beyond in the work they do caring for patients. The Award, in honour of nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, is presented during National Nursing Week celebrations May 11-17, 2026.

All nominations come from the community - from patients or family/essential caregivers who had first-hand experience with the nurse they are nominating and can provide a brief overview stating why they believe their nominee is worthy of this honour.
