Mentee Application

Introduction
Mentoring is a special partnership between two people based on commitment to the mentoring process, common goals/expectations, mutual trust, and respect. Mentoring is both a “Get and Give” experience, with the goal of providing a rich and rewarding experience for both partners.

The LeadingAge Georgia Leadership Network Mentoring Program (LNMP) is a 6-month program that requires mentoring partners to meet at least once a month for 1 hour, either virtually or in person. Mentors and Mentees will receive a complete toolkit with session guides, conversation starters, and helpful resources.

We ask you to share your information on this application so we can match you in a mentoring relationship.

Mentee Commitment
The best mentoring relationships happen when both people are engaged and invested. As a Mentee, you will get the most from this experience by taking initiative, coming prepared, and making time to connect with your Mentor regularly.

By completing this application, you commit to:

• Taking an active role in building your mentoring relationship
• Communicating regularly and respectfully with your Mentor
• Coming to conversations with questions, goals, and topics for discussion
• Prioritizing time attending scheduled meetings, and staying engaged throughout
