For generations, The Rec has served as an important part of our community — providing recreation, wellness, connection, and shared experiences for individuals and families of all ages.
Over the past year, the CVRC Board has worked to stabilize operations, strengthen programming, and better understand the long-term needs of the organization and facilities. Through that process, it has become clear that the future of The Rec will require thoughtful planning, broad community engagement, and honest conversations about long-term sustainability.
No decisions have been made regarding the future direction of the organization. Instead, this survey is intended to help gather community perspectives, priorities, concerns, and ideas as we begin a broader “Reimagining The Rec” planning process.
Ultimately, the community will need to determine whether and how it wishes The Rec to continue in the future. We invite those who care about the future of The Rec to participate in this survey to help us understand whether building a sustainable path forward together is possible.
This survey contains approximately 20 questions and generally takes 5–15 minutes to complete, depending on the depth of your responses.
Your feedback will help inform future planning efforts, including evaluation of facility options, organizational structure, partnerships, programming priorities, and long-term community needs.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this important conversation.
