City of Olympia: Traffic Box Wrap Application 2026

Traffic Box Wrap Application

Thank you for your interest in the City of Olympia 2026 Traffic Box Wrap Project. Please be sure you have thoroughly reviewed the detailed application guidelines before submitting your application.

This year, we will select ten works to be installed on traffic boxes around the City. Selected artists will receive a $500 honorarium and have their artwork displayed for 2-3 years, depending on the wear of the wrap. The public vote to determine which sculpture the City will purchase takes place in May/June.

The City of Olympia is committed to being an inclusive, affirming, and equitable place where community members and staff can live, play, and work. We adhere to the non-discriminatory treatment of all persons in employment, and in the delivery of services and resources. We strongly encourage people who are Black, Indigenous, people of color, transgender, non-binary, LGBTQ, immigrants, people with disabilities, and women to apply.
